GenWeb is a SaaS product, this means Software as a Service. The GenWeb software is hosted By Starsoft Computers Limited in Auckland, New Zealand and at other third party hosting sites as we see the need.

Subscribers to the GenWeb Software Service use this software to create their own website, blog or Intranet site. These created sites either appear as a sub domain of one of the GenWeb hosting domain names i.e. golf.myblog.net.nz or golf.mywebsite.net.nz or on their own domain name i.e. www.moneygoround.co.nz.

The content of your website is your property. It is not owned by Starsoft and we do not access it except with your written permission if there was a problem with your data.

Starsoft will never sell or disclose your personal details which were supplied by you when you purchased a GenWeb subscription except under the following circumstances.

·Where it is necessary to share information as required by law to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, Suspected fraud, violations of the GenWeb Terms of Use or as otherwise required by law.

·The information would be transferred if GenWeb or Starsoft is acquired by or merged with another company.

Inactive Websites

If no payment is received for a website subscription then Starsoft reserves the right to delete this website from its servers. We would normally make websites inactive for 60 days before deleting them to allow subscribers to re-activate them once payment is received, however Starsoft reserves the right to delete the website earlier if there is a technical or operational need to do so.
